This Privacy Policy explains how Inova Platforms, Inc. (“Inova,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use AppShot Studio. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, account status, and support communications.
  • User Content: screenshots, prompts, selected styles, storyboard data, generated images, localization inputs, and optional App Store Connect information.
  • Billing information: subscription, product, price, transaction, and customer identifiers. Stripe processes payment-card and bank details; we do not store full payment credentials.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device, pages and features used, timestamps, errors, referral URLs, and campaign parameters.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: authentication storage, analytics identifiers, Meta Pixel data, and preferences used to operate and measure the service.

2. How we use information

  • authenticate users and provide, save, and restore AppShot workspaces;
  • analyze screenshots and generate, edit, localize, store, and export images;
  • process subscriptions, enforce plan limits, prevent fraud, and provide billing support;
  • measure onboarding, checkout, and product performance and improve the service;
  • attribute advertising, subject to applicable law and available consent controls;
  • secure the service, troubleshoot failures, communicate with users, and comply with law.

3. AI processing

To provide storyboard analysis and image generation, relevant User Content and instructions can be sent to AI service providers, including OpenAI and Google. Those providers process the submitted data on our behalf or under their applicable service terms. Do not upload confidential material you are not authorized to share.

4. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. We can share information with service providers that help us operate AppShot, including:

  • Google Firebase for authentication, databases, and file storage;
  • Vercel for application hosting and delivery;
  • OpenAI and Google for AI processing;
  • Stripe for checkout, subscriptions, invoicing, and the billing portal;
  • Firebase Analytics and Meta for product analytics and advertising measurement;
  • Apple when you choose to use App Store Connect functionality.

We can also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Retention and deletion

Uploaded screenshots, storyboard records, and generated outputs can be retained in your account so you can resume work and download prior results. We retain account, analytics, security, and billing records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. You can request account and content deletion by emailing support@appshot.studio. Some records, including transaction records, may be retained where legally required.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including authenticated API access and managed cloud services. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can also manage browser storage and advertising preferences through your browser and device settings. Contact us to submit a privacy request.

8. International processing

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

9. Children

AppShot is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to the service.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the revised effective date. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@appshot.studio.
